Moskau Messe Company (Moscow Fair) was launched in 1989 as a Joint Soviet-German company Moskau Messe began to carry out its first exhibitions on the area of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
During 22 years of existence, "Moscow Fair" has been launching a number of remarkable projects. Soon after the foundation an exhibition Mashex was organized and held. It has become the main machine-building event in the country. In subsequent years such projects as Polygraph equipment and technologies exhibition “Polygraphinter” (1992), International furniture exhibition “Euroexpofurniture”, Construction technologies exhibition “Stroytech”, exhibition of woodworking industries "Woodex" (1993), exhibition of packing industries “Rosupak” (1996), educational exhibition “The Russian Education Forum” (1997) and many others appeared. In 2002 the leaders of Moskau Messe based International Exhibition Company MVK. During 8 years Moskau Messe has been supplementing MVK portfolio with the known projects. And in 2010 Moskau Messe once again went down in exhibition business history when made a large deal with British company ITE.
Currently, among the Moskau Messe projects there are such exhibitions as the exhibition of calligraphy “International exhibition of calligraphy”, "The Russian Education Forum”, exhibition of caravanning “Caravanex – Motor home”, festival of pregnant women “WanExpo”, cement and concrete production exhibition “Betonex” and others. In 2012 the company Moskau Messe is preparing a number of new thematic projects, including Russia's first show-exhibition of affordable and elite kinds of extreme sports, recreation and tourism “Extreme World Expo Show”.
Moskau Messe (“Moscow Fair”) has extensive experience in organizing exhibitions and conferences, which is planned to use in conjunction with Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
In 2011, Moskau Messe (“Moscow Fair”) became an official partner of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
